... Maintaining your stained floor

A beautiful stained floor will only remain so through proper and consistent maintenance. Remember: Dirt & grime become sandpaper with foot traffic! The "swiffer" (purchased everywhere) is your first line of defense. Commercial establishments should swiffer everyday. After we have completed your floor, a liquid floor finish product needs to be applied every so often. Residences-every 3-4 months...commercial establishments every other month on average. This process only requires a micro fiber mop, a squirt bottle or small pump sprayer and the liquid floor finish. Vern has his own favorite industrial floor finish (mop n glo on steroids!) and it is modestly priced. But in a pinch, most janitorial supply houses will have a commercial one that will work. (1 gal=$ 25) A gallon will cover at least 1500 sq. ft or more. Two thin coats are best when applying, and it dries in 15 min each coat. Just spray a small area and use the mop to distribute the floor finish evenly over the floor. Very easy to apply and maintains that beautiful luster. Just vacuum, wet mop floor and then apply two thin coats. Moving furniture or fixtures is not required if time is of the essence. Just hit those areas where traffic is most prominent. Your floor will stay award winning this way!
